Ms. Thornton focuses her practice in the areas of employee benefits law, employee benefits litigation, employment law and corporate law.  She earned her law degree from Georgia State University in 1995, and her B.B.A. degree from Kennesaw State University in 1989.  She is a member of the American, Georgia, Tennessee and Knoxville Bar Associations.  She is a contributing author of the "Age Discrimination in Employee Benefits" chapter in BNA's ERISA Litigation and a contributing author for BNA?s Employee Benefit Law.  She is admitted to practice in Georgia and Tennessee.
